Job summary

A leading recruitment agency in the UK is seeking an Employability / Work Coach to develop personalized learning plans and support individuals in achieving long-term employment goals. The ideal candidate will have experience in recruitment or employability and be able to engage with individuals facing complex barriers. The role includes regular learner progress reviews and ensuring effective training whilst managing various administrative tasks. This is a full-time, permanent position with a salary of up to £28,000.

Essential Criteria:

• Must have experience of working in a similar role (e.g., Recruitment / IAG / Employability).
• Must be able to engage with individuals who possess complex needs/barriers.
• Experience of working towards KPIs.
• GCSE English Language at a minimum of a Grade C (or equivalent Level 2 qualification).

The Role:

• To identify individual learner needs, and create personalised learning plans that support long-term employment goals.
• Regularly review learner progress to ensure training remains relevant and effective.
• Collect feedback from learners to continually improve curriculum content.
• Manage workbook distribution, collection, marking and provide clear, constructive feedback.
• Encourage positive attitudes and behaviours towards learning, training, and employment.
• Accurately update and maintain learner records.
• Complete all administrative tasks, including learner registrations, enrolment forms, ILPs, reviews, registers and awarding-body documentation.
• Meet all contractual KPIs and performance expectations under the Prison Education Service Contract.
