We are seeking an experienced and motivated SIA Door Supervisor & Employability Tutor to join our Adult Skills & Education Employability Department at Southwark college.
The successful candidate will deliver SIA Door Supervisor training alongside employability skills, supporting adult learners to gain the knowledge, confidence and professional behaviours needed to progress into employment within the private security sector.

As part of Southwark College’s ESOL provision within the 16‑18 Study Programme, the successful candidate will teach young learners from diverse backgrounds, focusing on language development, integration and empowerment. The role involves contributing to the design and delivery of the ESOL curriculum, including developing Schemes of Learning, lesson plans and immersive learning experiences tailored to this age group. The lecturer will also collaborate with the ESOL team to implement varied assessment strategies and provide constructive feedback to support learner progress. This position is based at Southwark College’s centrally located site near Waterloo Station, offering access to modern classrooms and excellent teaching resources.
