Overview

Embedded Software Team Lead in Fleet, salary circa £70k-£80k. Hexwired Recruitment has partnered with a well established electronics manufacturer with offices in Fleet. They are seeking an Embedded Software Team Lead to help lead a new project for a key customer. The company works with customers globally to develop novel solutions across a range of applications using the latest technology. You will work closely with various engineering teams to help build and deploy the next generation of products, and you will influence the product from design to manufacture.

This is an Embedded Software Team Lead role with scope to work on a range of innovative products. Due to the nature of the work, you will be required to go through the clearance process.

Responsibilities
  • Lead embedded software engineering activities on a new project
  • Collaborate with electrical, mechanical, and software teams to design and deploy products
  • Influence product development from Design to Manufacture
  • Work on a range of innovative embedded software products
  • Coordinate workstreams to align with project goals and timelines
  • Support and consent to the clearance process as required
Qualifications
  • Degree in Electronics, Embedded Systems or similar is highly desirable
  • Experience with commercial Embedded Linux
  • Experience leading teams of software engineers at a technical level
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience working on wireless devices is highly desirable; other industries such as Broadcast also considered
  • Ability to gain SC/DV clearance

The company is offering circa £80k dependent on experience along with an excellent benefits package. The role requires you to be onsite.
