EMBEDDED ENGINEER

This position is located at customer’s side in Sunbury, UK.

What will you be doing at eInfochips?

  • You will be responsible for design and development of real time embedded software and firmware, and PC/mobile based software application
  • Analyze domain specific technical or low level requirement and modification as per end customer or system requirement and participate in software design
  • Perform software testing including unit, functional and system level requirement including manual and automated
  • Document technical deliverable like software specifications, design document, code commenting, test cases and test report
  • Develop software solutions from established programming languages or by learning new language required for specific project
  • Develop new approaches to complex design problems
What are we looking for?
  • You have 5+ years of experience with embedded systems (NXP iMX8 or similar platform)
  • Strong knowledge of C++ programming language
  • You have Bachelor’s degree in electronics or computer science
  • Expertise in debugging, and communication protocols (HTTP, MqTT)
  • Knowledge in JLink, JTag, ICE Debugger, Serial Port Debugging
  • Working knowledge of Linux
  • Good to have experience with Yocto build system
