Job Description:

Are you an Electronics Engineer with experience in product redesign, reading complex schematics, and ensuring electronic compliance? Do you want to work for a global power electronics company?

Our client is looking to hire an Electronics Engineer - Component Selection to join their UK R&D centre in Devon. In this role, you will:

  • Interpret and analyze electronic schematics and component datasheets for hardware evaluation and fault investigation
  • Perform fault-finding and resolve issues on electronic circuits, including replacing components as needed
  • Rework and adapt existing circuits to incorporate new or alternative components, ensuring compatibility
  • Provide hands-on technical support throughout the electronics lifecycle, focusing on testing and validation
  • Collaborate with R&D engineers and suppliers on component selection, failure analysis, and compliance standards
