Overview

Role: Electronics Engineer

Location: Stockport

Salary: £35,000 - £45,000

Our client has an excellent reputation for supplying quality design work for over 20 years. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys the challenge of working throughout the full cycle on a variety of projects, from initial concept and design through to testing and delivery.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop a range of electronic systems.
• Diagnose and resolve issues in existing designs through root cause analysis.
• Produce detailed schematics and PCB layouts using OrCad and other CAD tools.
• Work with microprocessors, digital ICs, and FPGA devices (Altera Quartus).
• Embedded C programming at firmware level.
• Perform signal processing tasks to enhance product performance.
• Debug and validate designs to ensure functionality and reliability.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate electronics with mechanical systems.
• Participate in design reviews and contribute recommendations for improvement.
