A technology company in Greater London is seeking an experienced Electronics Engineer to develop sensor hardware for wearable technology products. Candidates should have a minimum of 4 years in electronics or embedded systems, strong skills in Electronics/PCB design and firmware development. Electronics Engineer

London

Hybrid

£50,00-£65,000

YT Technologies are working with an established technology company, based in London, who design and develop specific wearable technology products for sports.

They work with a lot of sensing technology and motion sensors, and are looking to hire an Electronics Engineer to drive development of the sensor hardware from R+D through to mass production. You'll have to have strong Electronics / PCB design, but also to be able to comfortably write the firmware too.

Responsibilities

Design, develop and integrate new sensors or embedded technology into their core product.

Improve the product by building and testing prototypes with new technologies.

Supervise and optimise areas of the manufacturing process related to embedded systems, for example automatic testing equipment or production firmware.

Collaborate within the Hardware and Product teams to integrate electronics and firmware with the mechanical and software parts of the product.

Work with the Customer Success team in identifying and debugging electronics and firmware related product issues.

What We're Looking For

At least 4 years of experience in electronics or embedded systems.

Proactive and results-oriented.

Extreme attention to detail.

Experience designing and prototyping electronics products from concept through to schematic design, layout and manufacturing.

Experience developing and deploying firmware for embedded systems, with experience in Nordic nRF series microcontrollers a major advantage.

The role is in SW London (3 days onsite 2 from home). It comes with a company bonus and equity shares options too.
