Belcan has an exciting permanent opportunity for a talented Electronics Project Design Engineer to join our growing team in Cheltenham. You’ll be at the heart of dynamic, small-to-medium sized projects—ranging from full industrial control installations to cutting-edge system test facilities, automatic test equipment, and electro-mechanical systems.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Leading electronics design and compliance tasks (FPGA, analogue & digital design)
• Supporting PCB design (schematic capture, layout, FMEA/component rating analysis)
• Driving innovation across diverse engineering challenges

What You’ll Bring

• Strong CAD design skills (SolidWorks or similar)
• Ability to design and test circuits from first principles
• Familiarity with configuration controls & PLM tools (engineering data management)
• Experience with Altium, VHDL, Libero – Microsemi
• Proven project management experience
