Job summary

A recruitment agency is looking for a self-employed Electrician in Hexham, offering ongoing work primarily focused on housing stock. The ideal candidate must have experience working with solar panels and be familiar with Testing & Inspection. The role starts at a daily rate and shifts to price work over time. Candidates must hold a valid 18th Edition certificate, 2391 qualification, and possess their own tools and transport. Immediate availability is preferred.

Qualifications

• Valid 18th Edition qualification & ECS certification.
• Minimum of 2391 Testing & Inspection qualification.
• Experience with Solar Panels and Extractor Fans required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct Testing & Inspection of solar panels.
• Fault finding and fixing issues as needed.
• Relocate extractor fans as per task requirements.

Zeal Recruitment are helping a successful Electrical Contractor look for a self‑employed Electrician on an ongoing basis, working on housing stock within the Hexham area. As the Electrician, you will have experience of working with Solar Panels. This role will start on a day rate, leading to price work as the project progresses.

Responsibilities

• Testing & Inspection of solar panels
• Fault finding
• Relocation of Extractor Fans
• 2 jobs per day

Qualifications

• 18th Edition & ECS
• 2391 Testing & Inspection
• Produce own certificates ready for QS to sign off.
• Own calibrated tester & Certificate
• Own tools and transport
