Job summary

You provide the skills and personality and we’ll provide the foundations for a successful career. An excellent knowledge of Estates along with excellent communication skills, application of initiative & strength of resolve, are essential.

Main duties of the job

You will be part of the team who are responsible for the delivery of a comprehensive electrical maintenance and installation service across the Trust's estates, which will be responsive, efficient, financially effective and to a high standard. You should possess good communication skills both written and verbal.

Qualifications
  • City and Guilds apprenticeship or equivalent course in Mechanical Engineering
  • Previous experience within the Healthcare Industry.
Experience
  • Previous installation and maintenance operations on a large, complex and diverse estate.
  • Experience in electrical/mechanical fault finding and repairs.
  • Knowledge of Fire alarm systems, CCTV systems, Swipe Access systems, Emergency Lighting Systems, Backup power supplies, including Generator systems and Uninterruptible Power Supplies.
Skills
  • Ability to carry out fault finding and correct faults on complex systems.
