Job description
Electrician – Installation

Permanent full time – Salary £38 482 – £41 822 plus vehicle, excellent package. Wiltshire / Frome / Swindon.

We are a reputable facilities management contractor delivering building maintenance to clients across the UK. We are expanding and need an experienced Electrician to work on various commercial premises including retail.

Role
  • Undertake electrical installation and minor maintenance works with the Electrical team, operating in compliance with company policy and procedure.
  • The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years experience post apprenticeship in depth knowledge of all electrical installation works good computer literacy and ability to use industry software for completing reports.
  • Always represent the company in a professional and competent manner and develop strong working relationships with colleagues and clients.
  • Delivery of electrical installation and maintenance works on site in compliance with the agreed project specification and within agreed timescales.
  • Liaison with the Project Manager at all times striving to ensure that project works are delivered on time snag free and to the agreed specification.
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant health and safety regulations HSE management systems procedures or instructions as they apply and to ensure that all colleagues and sub‑contractors follow safe systems of work on site.
  • Striving to achieve snag free completion and where snagging occurs to ensure it is resolved within 6 working days.
  • Identification and resolution of repair maintenance and installation issues that may affect project delivery.
  • Ensuring company vehicle is kept clean well maintained and serviced as required.
  • Comply with any other reasonable management instruction.

  • You will be qualified electrically and must hold your 18th edition Electrical Level 3 or equivalent and Test and Inspectionli>
  • You will have electrical installation experience on commercial sites.
  • You will live in the region and happy with travel throughout the region and further when needed national travel – some overnight days may be.
  • You must have a full UK driving licence.
  • Good IT skills.
Package
  • Salary £38 482 – £41 822 depending on approval.
