Job description

Teamforce Labour are actively recruiting for experienced Electricians with valid EUSR (Persons) certification to work on a live National Grid substation project based in Essex (CO10). This is a long‑term opportunity for qualified electricians with solid experience in electrical containment installation within high‑voltage environments.

Key Duties:

• Installing electrical containment systems (cable tray, trunking, ladder rack, conduit, etc.)
• Working safely on or near live National Grid infrastructure
• Reading and interpreting electrical schematics and installation drawings
• Coordinating with other trades on‑site and reporting to site supervisors
• Maintaining high standards of workmanship and site safety

Requirements:

• EUSR (Persons) Card - Essential
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS7671) - Preferred
• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent
• Proven experience working on live substations (National Grid preferred)
• Strong skills in containment installation
• Own tools and full PPE
• Right to work in the UK
