A leading staffing agency is seeking skilled Electricians to maintain advanced production equipment in a fast-paced automotive plant. Successful candidates will troubleshoot electrical systems and have experience with PLCs and robotics. This position offers up to $40/hr plus benefits, including health insurance and a 401(k) plan.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience as an Electrician or Electro-Mechanical Technician in an automotive plant.
  • Strong electrical troubleshooting skills and understanding of control circuitry.
  • Experience with PLC programming and HMI interfaces (Allen Bradley, Beckhoff).

  • Work with Allen Bradley PLCs and collaborate with OEMs for Siemens systems.

Job description
Overview

Skillforce is looking for skilled Electricians to maintain and troubleshoot advanced production equipment in a fast-paced automotive plant in Columbia, TN. This role is ideal for candidates experienced with PLCs, robotics, and industrial electrical systems. Pay is up to $40/hr + $125/day per diem for those that qualify! Candidates will be working up to 60+ hours a week for approximately 6 weeks.

Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems, PLCs, high-voltage equipment, and control circuitry
  • Work with Allen Bradley PLCs (primary), Beckhoff at the cells, and coordinate with OEMs for Siemens systems
  • Program and troubleshoot Fanuc robots
  • Configure machine Ethernet networks and maintain communication systems
  • Work with CIP safety devices, safety relays, and safety controllers
  • Program and troubleshoot HMIs (PanelView Plus)
  • Troubleshoot hydraulics and pneumatics as needed
  • Collaborate with production teams on quality and improvement projects
Qualifications
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience as an Electrician or Electro-Mechanical Technician in an automotive plant
  • Strong electrical troubleshooting skills and understanding of control circuitry
  • Experience with PLC programming and HMI interfaces (Allen Bradley, Beckhoff )
  • Knowledge of robotics, machine networks, and safety devices
