Pay: £45,000.00-£50,000.00 per year

Job description: Trade Recruit is supporting a fast-growing company in the South East of England by recruiting an experienced Electrical Installations Engineer. This is a self-employed role offering consistent work, potential earnings in the PV/EV/Battery storage sector, and opportunities to grow skills across residential, commercial, and renewable energy installations.

Responsibilities

• Carry out electrical installations, repairs, callouts, and testing.
• Complete first and second fix installations across new builds and retrofit projects.
• Deliver high-quality domestic and commercial solar PV installations.
• Ensure all work is completed to current industry regulations and safety standards.
• Conduct fault finding, inspection, and testing with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Provide excellent service and maintain strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
• Keep accurate records of completed works, testing certificates, and reports.

Requirements

• Minimum 4 years\' experience in electrical installations.
• Level 3 Qualified in Electrical Installations.
• Gold card - fully qualified electrician
• 2391 Inspection & Testing qualification - preferred
• Experience with PV/EV/Battery storage installations (preferred but not essential).
• Strong knowledge of industry regulations, safety standards, and best practices.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently on the tools.
