Job summary

A public service housing organization is seeking an electrical maintenance technician to conduct diagnostics and health tests in housing properties across Northern Ireland. The successful candidate will have completed an electrical apprenticeship and be responsible for ensuring compliance with safety regulations. A transport form will be provided for duties across various locations.

Location - Depot base available is Portadown and Cloughfern, Newtownabbey, areas of works will initially cover North and West Belfast but may be required to work across other depots across NI

Job purpose

To contribute, to the provision of a modern, professional and responsive service to support NIHE business delivery by conducting electrical maintenance, fault-finding, and diagnostics in Housing Executive properties and carry out health and safety testing of equipment, while upholding safety guidelines and complying with all applicable Codes and Regulations in line with our vision and values as outlined below.

Requirements
  1. Have successfully completed a time served or skills electrical apprenticeship.

A form of transport will be provided to enable the post holder to carry out their duties
