Are you experienced in electrical wholesale, electrical products, or trade counter sales?

Looking for a stable, Monday-Friday role with a successful, reputable electrical distributor?

We're recruiting a Trade Counter Sales Advisor for a well-established electrical wholesale business with multiple branches across the Midlands. Due to continued growth, the St Neots branch is expanding its team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serving B2B customers at the electrical wholesale trade counter
  • Providing product advice, technical guidance, and sales support
  • Processing orders, raising quotations, and offering alternative product solutions
  • Building strong customer relationships to drive repeat business
  • Assisting with warehouse duties such as picking, packing, and stock organisationSupporting branch operations and contributing to sales growth
  • (Advantage) Occasional delivery driving using a transit van
  • (Advantage) Experience using the Equinox system
Required Experience
  • Minimum 1 year in electrical wholesale, electrical distribution, or trade counter sales OR hands‑on knowledge of electrical products (contractor/installer background highly welcomed)
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Confident working in a busy B2B environment
  • A proactive team player with a positive attitude
  • Good product understanding across cables, lighting, switchgear, fittings, and consumables
