Job summary

A leading construction firm in Southampton is looking for experienced Electrical Testers for an immediate start, offering a 6-month contract. Candidates must have a valid JIB Gold Card and at least 2 years of relevant experience. Responsibilities include testing small power and lighting in student accommodations. Work hours are from 7:00am to 5:00pm, Monday to Friday, with a pay structure of 10 hours daily. Candidates should possess tools and PPE, and have a valid right to work in the UK.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years experience as an Electrical Tester.
• Valid JIB Gold Card required.
• Valid Work Permit / Right to Work in UK is necessary.

Electrical Tester

Ark M&E are looking for experienced Electrical Testers for a project in Central Southampton.

This position is available to start immediately and is for up to 6 months in duration. We may be able to offer further work on our other London projects.

JOB DUTIES

• testing small power and lighting in student accommodations
• 6 months work
• 7:00am - 5:00pm Monday to Friday with 1 hour lunch (9hrs worked per day)
• 10hrs paid per day
• CIS / UTR Payment (No Umbrella companies / fees)

EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum 2 years experience as an Electrical Tester
• Valid JIB Gold Card
• 2391 or 2392 Testing & Inspection Certificate
• 18th Edition Electrical
• Valid Work Permit / Right to Work in UK
• Tools & PPE Required
