Electrical Supervisor

About the Project

We're working on a commercial project (e.g. fit out / shell & core / office block / retail centre / mixed use) and need an experienced Electrical Supervisor to join our team on a commercial school build project. This role is ideal for someone with a solid background in managing electrical installations on large-scale commercial or educational developments.

As Electrical Supervisor, you'll take responsibility for overseeing all on-site electrical works, ensuring the project is delivered to the highest standards of quality, safety, and compliance, and within programme timelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate all electrical trades and subcontractors on site
• Review and interpret electrical drawings, designs, and specifications
• Carry out regular inspections and quality checks on installation works
• Work closely with the Project Manager, Site Manager, and other trade supervisors
• Enforce site Health & Safety standards: ensure RAMS, PPE, and safe systems of work are followed
• Review and verify testing, inspection, and commissioning documentation
• Track progress, identify delays or risks, and report to the project team
• Support snagging, defect resolution, and handover documentation
• Maintain accurate daily and weekly site reports, including timesheets and materials usage

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years' experience as an Electrical Supervisor on commercial or industrial projects
• Proven track record supervising electrical works on education, healthcare, or large commercial builds
• Valid ECS Gold Card
• SSSTS certification
• Full UK Driving Licence
