Electrical Site Supervisor – Exciting Long-Term Opportunity in Bournemouth!

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Site Supervisor to join our team on a prestigious South West Water project based in the Bournemouth area. This is a long-term contract role, working outside IR35 with a competitive day rate.

About the Role

As an Electrical Site Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising and controlling all electrical site activities to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards. Reporting to the M&E Manager/Lead Site Supervisor, you will play a vital role in delivering high‑quality electrical installations on a key infrastructure project.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the Electrical Site Supervisor overseeing all electrical installations and ensuring compliance with safety standards.
• Verify new electrical systems and carry out LV electrical isolations.
• Monitor supply chain performance and project programme.
• Review and maintain supplier inspection and test plans.
• Conduct site inductions, toolbox talks, and support commissioning activities.
• Serve as the Electrical Appointed Person ensuring compliance with electrical safety rules.
• Oversee electrical testing in line with BS7671 and review results.
• Issue limitation of access permits and maintain daily site diaries.

Candidate Requirements

• Proven experience as an Electrical Site Supervisor in a construction or utilities environment.
• SSSTS or SMSTS certification.
• FAAW (First Aid at Work).
• ECS Card.
• City & Guilds 2330 or 2360 in Electrical Installations.
• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installations.
• IEE 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
• 2391 Test and Inspect – preferred.
