Key responsibilities
  • Sales & Promotion: Actively identify new business opportunities and lead the sales process for engineered switchboard solutions, from initial client contact to closing the sale.
  • Client Relationship Management: Develop and maintain long‑lasting relationships with customers by providing expert advice, tailored solutions, and exceptional post‑sale support.
  • Technical Expertise: Provide technical consultations to clients, ensuring they are matched with the right switchboard products and engineered solutions to meet their specific needs.
  • Product Presentations & Proposals: Deliver product presentations, demonstrations, and detailed proposals, highlighting the benefits, efficiency, and reliability of products.
  • Market Insights: Stay informed on industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitors to offer clients the most advanced and cost‑effective solutions.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the engineering and design teams to ensure product specifications meet client requirements and are delivered on time.
What we're looking for
  • Experience: Proven experience in a sales or engineering role, preferably in industrial engineering, electrical, or switchboard product sectors.
  • Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of electrical systems, switchgear, and engineered solutions for switchboards.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts in a clear and engaging way.
  • Problem Solver: Ability to identify client needs and propose tailored solutions to meet those needs effectively.
  • Self‑Motivated: Driven, proactive, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Education: Degree in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or an Electrical trades qualification
