Job description

Overview

We are currently working in partnership with a Social Housing provider based in Bristol, who are looking for an Electrical Programme Manager on a permanent basis.

The is a full-time position out of Bristol, with visits to other offices and sites required. The salary for the role is £56,100 per annum with a January start date.

This is a key leadership role with responsibility for driving quality, compliance, and performance, including the rollout of Electric Vehicle (EV) charging installations in line with the organisation’s infrastructure strategy.

Duties

• Leading the delivery of electrical testing, inspection, and planned improvement programmes
• Overseeing the rollout of EV charging installations in line with strategic objectives
• Acting as the organisation’s Senior Qualifying Supervisor under the NICEIC registration
• Taking ownership of quality assurance, compliance, and adherence to regulatory standards across both domestic and commercial dwellings
• Managing and coordinating internal teams and external contractors to ensure effective delivery of workstreams
• Ensuring all electrical work complies with relevant legislation, standards, and best practice

Experience required

• Proven experience overseeing both internal and external contractors
• Strong programme and workstream management capability
• Demonstrable experience delivering electrical works within domestic and commercial environments

Qualifications & Knowledge

• City & Guilds 2391 (or equivalent)
• City & Guilds electrical qualification to the latest edition of BS7671 (Wiring Regulations) or equivalent
• NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent technical certificate) in Electrical Engineering
• Hold the qualifications required to register as a Qualifying Supervisor with NICEIC
• Familiarity with the IET Code of Practice for Electric Vehicle Charging Installations

Working hours

• 37.5 hours per week
• Monday – Friday, Flexible Start / Finish Times
