Electrical Maintenance Technician
Location: Middlesbrough

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Technician to join a forward-thinking, safety-driven manufacturing business. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a fast-paced production environment where your technical skills will directly support performance, reliability, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities
  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance and respond to equipment breakdowns
  • Drive improvements to reduce downtime and increase efficiency
  • Support equipment upgrades, installations, and refurbishment projects
  • Perform dynamic risk assessments to ensure safe operations
  • Maintain accurate shift reports, maintenance logs, and CMMS records
  • Assist in root cause analysis and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
  • Report technical faults and recommend solutions to management
  • Manage and monitor spare parts inventory
Qualifications
  • NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Engineering, or a time-served apprenticeship (or equivalent qualification)
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive and safety-conscious approach
  • Previous experience within a manufacturing or production environment is desirable
