Qualifications

  • Time-served or modern apprenticeship in an electrical engineering discipline.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings.
  • Knowledge of PLCs, drives, hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical drive systems.
  • Physically fit for the demands of the role.

Responsibilities

  • Carry out proactive and reactive maintenance on heavy industrial machinery.
  • Troubleshoot engineering issues, including PLC control systems.
  • Support production teams to minimize downtime.
  • Work across electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Skills

Reading and interpreting electrical drawings
