Job summary

A leading processing company in Doncaster is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to support plant operations. The ideal candidate will be apprentice trained and experienced in a manufacturing or processing environment. Responsibilities include troubleshooting machinery and working with a PPM structure. This position offers a competitive salary of up to £49,600 with a shift pattern of 4 on, 4 off.

Qualifications

  • Apprentice trained engineers with experience in manufacturing or processing environments.
  • Experience in roles such as Electrical Technician, Maintenance Engineer, etc.

Responsibilities

  • Provide breakdown assistance to ensure machinery is running efficiently.
  • Identify reliability issues and offer solutions.
  • Work according to PPM structure.
  • Adhere to site health and safety procedures.
  • Complete worksheets for planning.
  • Engage in installation and project work.
  • Fix electrical machinery faults.

We're assisting a processing business based in Doncaster with their search for an Electrical bias Maintenance Engineer. This role is key to the business operation and is at the core of the plants running. We're looking to speak with apprentice trained engineers who have experience of working in fast paced, pressurised environment. If you're looking to embark on a career with a leading processing name then look no further.

The Person:
  • Apprentice Trained (NVQ 3).
  • Experience in a manufacturing, recycling or processing environment.
  • Adaptable, Motivated, Trustworthy and Resilient.
  • Have worked as: Electrical Technician, Electrical Engineer, Maintenance Engineer, Maintenance Electrician or Electrical Maintenance Engineer.
The Role:
  • Providing breakdown assistance to the plant function, ensuring machinery is running as fast and as safely as possible.
  • Identifying reliability issues and offering solutions.
  • Working to a PPM structure.
  • Adhering to site H&S procedure.
  • Completing worksheets for the Planner to input.
  • PLC fault finding.
  • Installation / Project work.
  • Fixing electrical machinery faults.
