Electrical Installation Lecturer

Hours: 35 Hours per week
Contract: Temporary until 19/12/2025

About the Role and Client: We are recruiting on behalf of a respected educational institution seeking an experienced Electrical Installation Lecturer. You will teach and assess electrical courses up to Level 3, coordinate groups, and contribute to outstanding student outcomes. This is a full-time role (35 hours per week) on a fixed-term contract until 19 December 2025.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver engaging lessons and assessments for Electrical Installation courses up to Level 3
  • Coordinate course groups and maintain accurate student records
  • Develop course materials and schemes of work
  • Ensure compliance with Health & Safety standards
  • Support learners' progress through tutorials and formative feedback
  • Participate in marketing events and employer engagement activities
  • Embed English and Maths within all learning activities
  • Undertake internal verification and quality assurance processes
Candidate Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years' teaching/training experience
  • Appropriate teaching qualification (Cert Ed, PCET or equivalent Level 3+)
  • Occupationally competent electrician with NVQ Level 3 or JIB Approved Electrician/EngTech status
  • Evidence of industry currency (e.g., wiring regulations updates, networking events)
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Efficient administration and record-keeping abilities
  • Enhanced DBS within the last three years
