Role Overview

Because of heightened workload we are actively searching for several Electrical Fitters to join our team on contract. In this role you will work as part of a skilled team responsible for the installation of cable, control systems and various types of instrumentation onto bespoke machinery.

Qualifications

• Formal qualifications within a relevant discipline (apprenticeship, NVQ/BTEC/City & Guilds Level 3, HNC, HND, etc.) and ideally an 18th edition qualification.
• Previous experience working within an engineering, production, factory, industrial or manufacturing environment.
• The ability to read, interpret and work directly from schematics & drawings.
• ADVANTAGEOUS: Previous experience working withoured cable.

Working Hours

• Monday to Thursday – 07:00 to 15:30 (37 hours per week).
• Friday – 07:00 to 12:30.

Pay & Incentives

• PAYE: £20.70 per hour or Umbrella PAYE: £27.80 per hour (overtime paid at 150 %).
• Incentive payment: £1,000 for every successful 3‑month period worked.
• Overtime: frequently available, paid at time & a half and double time (Sundays only).
• Assignment duration: 3‑month rolling assignment (often extended and sometimes offered permanent, but not guaranteed).
• Access to onsite facilities: subsidised canteen, gym and free parking.
