Job summary

A leading facilities management company is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to manage and innovate electrical systems for various commercial and industrial locations. The role involves troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining low-voltage systems while ensuring compliance with safety regulations. Candidates should hold relevant certificates, possess strong knowledge of HVAC systems, and demonstrate excellent communication and teamwork skills. A full UK driving licence is required, and the position is full-time on-site in Rotherham.

Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of HVAC, heating, and air-conditioning systems.
  • Experience with building fabric and basic reactive repairs.
  • Understanding of health & safety obligations for maintenance activities.
  • Prepared to work out of hours when required; occasional on-call.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain, troubleshoot and repair low-voltage electrical systems.
  • Conduct regular testing and inspection of low-voltage systems.
  • Diagnose faults and perform repairs and replacements as needed.
  • Execute preventive maintenance tasks to reduce downtime.
  • Adopt and comply with health, safety and environmental policies.
  • Collaborate with team members and provide guidance to junior staff.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance and inspection reports.
