Job Description

Key responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance on manufacturing equipment to ensure smooth operations.
  • Electrical fault-finding on panels and PLCs.
  • maintenance of robotics and other automated equipment.
  • Diagnose and repair machinery faults to minimise downtime.
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to implement equipment improvements.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment status.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations during all tasks.
  • Monitor and adjust equipment settings to optimise performance and efficiency.
  • Participate in planned shutdowns and project work as required.
  • Provide technical support and training to other team members when necessary.
The Successful Applicant

A successful Maintenance Engineer should have

  • Apprenticeship/education in Electrical Maintenance or Engineering.
  • Ideally 18th edition wiring regulations.
  • Ideally Test & Inspection certifications.
  • Experience working within an industrial or manufacturing environment.
  • Strong technical skills in diagnosing and repairing electrical systems.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations in an industrial setting.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
