Electrical (Project & Commissioning) Engineer - Water Industry


A specialist MEICA contractor specialising in the delivery of clean and wastewater projects is looking for an Electrical Engineer focused on project delivery and commissioning to work in the Thames Valley area.


This role blends typical engineering and delivery, managing projects from an initial concept through to handover. If you have experience within the water and wastewater industry (or a similar industrial environment) then get in touch to find out more!



Responsibilities


  • Manage project programs, ensuring compliance with schedules and milestones.

  • Liaise with clients, stakeholders, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure smooth project execution.

  • Ensure that commissioning teams are kept up to date with project progress.

  • Identify and manage project risks and changes, reporting as required.

  • Ensure safe delivery of projects to time, cost, and quality standards.

  • Ensure compliance with statutory, regulatory, and company requirements.

  • Coordinate project handover and operational asset management.



Qualifications/Experience


  • HNC/HND/Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent

  • IOSH, SSSTS/SMSTS or NEBOSH general certificate would be an advantage

  • Contractual and commercial knowledge

  • Eligible to work in the UK
