Overview

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to support major nuclear and energy infrastructure projects in the UK. The successful candidate will contribute to the design, integration, and verification of electrical systems within complex engineering programmes, ensuring compliance with nuclear safety, regulatory, and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide client‑side representation for management of all electrical documentation on UK nuclear new build projects.
  • Review drawings and 3D plant models; manage and validate design changes where required.
  • Coordinate with vendors and suppliers on technical and contractual aspects of electrical equipment.
  • Support contract execution, ensuring scope, schedule and budget alignment.
  • Provide technical input and support to site‑based activities when needed.
  • Work in a multi‑disciplinary environment, supporting delivery across complex nuclear programmes.
Required Skills & Experience
  • Degree-qualified (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering (or related discipline).
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience within the nuclear sector (new build, operations, decommissioning, or safety‑critical environments).
  • Experience in design, coordination or review of electrical systems within large‑scale infrastructure or industrial projects.
  • Familiarity with technical documentation, drawings, 3D models; vendor/supplier coordination for electrical equipment (cabling, cabinets, distribution, etc.).
  • Ability/interest to manage scope, schedule, cost within an engineering‑project context.
  • Good communication skills; ability to work in multi‑disciplinary teams; interface with stakeholders.
