Electrical Design Engineer / Senior Electrical Design Engineer

Location: Huddersfield (Hybrid)

Salary: £50,000 - £70,000 per annum (DOE)

Job Type: Permanent

We are currently working with an established engineering business based in Huddersfield who are looking to appoint an Electrical Design Engineer or Senior Electrical Design Engineer on a permanent basis.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing organisation operating within an automation-focused environment, delivering projects across a range of sectors including special purpose machinery, FMCG, pharmaceutical, nuclear, and other regulated industries.

The Role
  • Electrical design of control panels
  • Producing electrical schematics and documentation
  • Working closely with project and engineering teams
  • Supporting projects from concept through to completion
The Ideal Candidate
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in electrical design
  • Background in automation, machinery, or industrial engineering
  • Experience with EPLAN (preferred), AutoCAD Electrical, or similar electrical design software
  • Strong understanding of control systems and panel design
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
