Job summary

A Leicestershire based Engineering company is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will produce design documentation, ensure safety regulations are met, and provide support to other engineers. Proficiency in AutoCAD Electrical and relevant experience in design are required for this role. A full UK driving license is necessary.

Qualifications

• Proficient with AutoCAD Electrical design package.
• Previous electrical design experience in a manufacturing environment or similar.
• Previous experience designing industrial machinery.
• Good PLC/ HMI understanding & knowledge.
• Full UK driving license.

Responsibilities

• Producing design documentation & electrical wiring diagrams.
• Ensuring health & safety regulations are being met at all times.
• Providing support to other engineers when required.
• Writing software for PLC & HMIs.
