Qualifications

  • Educated to degree level or equivalent in a numerate or business discipline, or have business, finance or engineering experience.
  • Proven track record in delivering results in challenging environments and ability to influence across functions.
  • Strong financial and business acumen.
  • Highly analytical with experience interpreting data and completing data modelling using Excel.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Previous experience in a relevant discipline, preferably with an understanding of the Services Business or engine lifecycle.

Service Cost Officer – Derby (Full Time)

Join the Trent Fleet and Mature Engines Value Stream as a Services Cost Officer and play a key role in defining a robust cost strategy roadmap and policies, baseline cost assumptions for both current and future business, and evaluating the impact of cost reduction proposals.

Responsibilities
  • Support the definition and management of the Service Cost strategy to deliver business plan requirements and margin improvement objectives.
  • Support cost‑reduction identification and creation/management of plans to deliver improvements, including analysis of actual shop visit costs.
  • Support management of all Service Cost controlling policies.
  • Provide business case support and approval for Product Change Management items.
  • Support the generation of cost base for financial reporting – Time on wing, Shop Cost and Services cost.
