Role: Electrical Design Engineer

Contract: 6 months

Location: Bristol (Hybrid)

Rate: £Excellent

ARCA Resourcing is partnering with a pioneering aerospace business based in Bristol, which is pushing the boundaries of next-generation flight technology.

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to play a key role in the design, integration, and optimisation of electrical power distribution systems for advanced aerospace applications.

The Opportunity
  • Develop and deliver electrical design solutions across low-voltage and high-voltage power distribution systems.
  • Work closely with multidisciplinary teams (Mechanical, Software, Systems) to ensure seamless integration into complex aerospace platforms.
  • Ensure designs comply with industry standards, certification requirements, and safety regulations.
  • Support prototype build, testing, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement activities.
  • Provide expertise in documentation, schematics, wiring diagrams, and component selection.
About You
  • Degree (or equivalent) in Electrical / Electronic Engineering or related discipline.
  • Proven experience in aerospace or advanced engineering environments.
  • Strong knowledge of power distribution systems and electrical system integration.
  • Familiarity with aerospace standards, certification processes, and compliance requirements.
  • Confident communicator able to collaborate effectively across engineering disciplines.
