Job summary

A major NHS trust in the UK is seeking an Electrical Craftsperson to manage electrical maintenance and repairs across multiple sites. The ideal candidate will have a recognized electrical apprenticeship, experience in a complex services environment, and must be able to work independently. Qualifications

  • Recognised building services electrical apprenticeship or equivalent.
  • Post‑qualification experience working in a complex building services environment.
  • Strong ability to work independently and undertake planned preventive and reactive maintenance.
  • Knowledge of statutory maintenance works and relevant NHS HTM guidance.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all statutory electrical repairs and maintenance across the estates.
  • Carry out PPM and reactive maintenance on various systems.
  • Perform minor works and replacements in the building services environment.
  • Act as a Competent Person in accordance with NHS HTM guidance.
  • Coordinate with contractors and internal teams for Estates services.
  • Participate in the Estates emergency on‑call rota.
