A leading contractor in the UK seeks an experienced electrical contracts manager to oversee multiple projects with an M&E value of £15m combined. This role offers the flexibility to work from home or the head office in South East London. Responsibilities include fostering relationships with site teams, managing procurement and contracts, and attending relevant meetings. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, possess strong communication skills, and have a strong knowledge of UK regulations and IT systems, particularly Excel.
MK Search is working with a very well respected medium‑sized contractor with a turnover of £50m and a strong presence delivering for leading main contractors across the commercial, healthcare and education sectors who due to an internal promotion are looking for an electrical contracts manager to join their team.
At contracts manager level, people have the autonomy to manage their own diaries and can work from their head office in South East London, or from home with travel to sites when required in order to fulfil the role. Typically, you will have an overview of 3-4 projects at a time (circa £15m M&E values combined). You will work alongside a mechanical equivalent and drive collaboration across full MEP packages at all stages of the project life cycle.
