Electrical Commissioning & Maintenance Engineer

Location: Cheshire

£36,000 - £38,000 plus overtime, standby, shared van, annual company bonus, private healthcare, private pension, specialist tools, pension and 30 days holiday inclusive of statutory days.

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an Electrical Commissioning & Maintenance Engineer to join a dynamic and fast-paced team. We’re looking for a motivated, hands-on individual to work alongside a mechanical engineer undertaking nationwide installation, commissioning and servicing of pumping equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Installing, commissioning and servicing pumping equipment
  • Support aftersales and the breakdown department when required
  • Complete site reports after each visit and obtain the relevant customer signatures
  • Ensure all materials and tools are available before leaving & completing works within time frames
  • Be responsible for petty cash and company credit card
Experience
  • Hold City & Guilds Level 3 – initial and periodic inspection and testing of electrical installations
  • Electrical qualifications to 17th or 18th Edition
  • Must be willing to cover on a National basis and be happy to stay away when required
  • Confined spaces, First Aid, CSCS – desirable
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Must be based in Cheshire
