Job summary

A leading recruitment agency is seeking an EHS Governance Advisor for a permanent role at Hinkley Point C. This position requires someone with over 5 years of EHS/compliance expertise in large-scale construction or similar environments. Permanent | Site-based at Hinkley Point C

We’re hiring an EHS Governance Advisor to embed robust health, safety, and environmental governance on a high-profile, complex project at Hinkley Point C. If you thrive at the intersection of assurance, data, and stakeholder influence, this is where your impact will be felt—daily.

What you’ll lead

• Governance & Assurance: Own audit / inspection rhythms. Keep compliance traceable, verifiable, and ready-for-review.
• Data to Decisions: Champion the project reporting tool and deliver Power BI dashboards that turn trends into actions.
• Stakeholder Influence: Be the go-to for EHS governance queries. Align contractors, site teams, and leadership around standards and best practice.
• Coaching & Culture: Train teams on reporting tools, elevate data quality, and drive engagement that improves performance.

What you bring

• EHS / compliance expertise (c. 5+ years in large-scale construction or high-risk environments)
• NEBOSH General Certificate & CCNSG Safety Passport
• Strong analytical skills and experience with Power BI or similar
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management

Bonus

• ISO 45001 Internal Auditor and experience in regulated sectors (energy, nuclear, oil & gas, infrastructure).
