A leading engineering firm in the UK is seeking a Senior EHS Advisor to support operational teams throughout Utilities Projects in Yorkshire and Humber. The role involves promoting safety culture, conducting inspections, and ensuring compliance with HS&E legislation. Candidates must have a NEBOSH certification and relevant site experience, with strong analytical and interpersonal skills. We are seeking a Senior EHS Advisor to engage with and support our operational teams throughout the life cycle of our Utilities Projects throughout the Yorkshire and Humber Regions, this will include key frameworks and projects such as the Yorkshire Water Framework and the Anglian Water Strategic Pipeline Alliance. The EHS Advisor will work directly with the Amentum project teams, our wider supply‑chain and our clients supporting the governance of the Health and Safety. This role involves promoting and influencing EHS behaviours and culture, adding value through innovation and best practice, whilst being accountable for ensuring the safe delivery of EHS excellence.
Any offer of employment will be strictly subject to the relevant security requirements for the role being met. This means that you will need to have, or be able to obtain, Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) clearance and either Security Check (SC) or Developed Vetting (DV) clearance. The security clearance process may require non‑British nationals or dual nationals (i.e. those with British and another nationality) to be subject to additional evaluation, depending on nationalities held and the nature of the work to be carried out.
