Job Opportunity: Science Teacher (Temporary Maternity Cover)

Are you an inspiring Science Teacher looking for a position in a growing secondary school in a state-of-the-art new building? We are looking for a dynamic and highly skilled teacher to join the Science faculty at Merstham Park School on a temporary maternity cover contract. Please note: We are advertising both a Deputy Head of Science and a Teacher of Science position, but only one appointment will be made. The final decision will be based on the skills, experience, and suitability of the candidates for the needs of the department.

Key Responsibilities

We are seeking to appoint a skilled and proficient Science Teacher to deliver high-quality lessons at KS3 and KS4, increasing year on year as the school grows. You will have a confident understanding of the curriculum and the ability to explain scientific concepts clearly. As a Science Teacher at Merstham Park School, you will have plenty of CPD opportunities for professional development and growth. Working as part of the GLF Trust comprising of 43 schools, we can support you with career pathways for progression.
