Overview

Vivid Resourcing are currently working with a local authority based in the West Midlands who are seeking to hire an Education/SEN lawyer on a rolling contract for 3 months to start within the next month.

The position would require someone to attend irregular court hearings, aside from that the post can be worked on a fully remote basis.

Responsibilities

• Attend irregular court hearings as required.
• Manage a diverse caseload including SEN appeals, exclusions, tribunals, s4441s and JRs.
• Work autonomously within a small team.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years PQE.
• Experience with SEN appeals, exclusions and tribunals.
• Ability to hold a diverse caseload including s4441s and JRs.
• Comfortable working autonomously in a small team.
• Prior local authority experience is preferable but not essential.
