Overview

Join Our Team as an Education Recruitment Consultant!

Location: Budshead Road, Plymouth

Hours: Full-Time (7am - 5pm, flexible!)

Work From Home: Wednesdays

Reduced Hours: vary between 9am - 4pm during half terms, Easter, Christmas, and Summer holidays

We are looking for a Recruitment Consultant to join our Plymouth team. You will work with schools across Cornwall & Devon, helping them find teaching and support staff. Training and a clear path to Branch Manager are provided, with an uncapped commission opportunity.

The Role

As an Education Recruitment Consultant, you’ll connect schools with teaching and support staff for short-term and long-term placements, matching candidates to roles that fit their needs, and building strong relationships with schools, teachers, and candidates.

What You'll Do
  • Build strong, ongoing relationships with schools across Devon & Cornwall.
  • Use creativity and sales skills to attract new clients and business opportunities.
  • Network in person, by phone, and on social media to make connections.
  • Head-hunt candidates, review applications, and organize interviews.
  • Provide top-notch service to schools and candidates.
  • Use Salesforce to manage bookings and client needs.
  • Participate in sponsorship activities for client schools.
What You Need to Succeed
  • A valid Driving Licence and access to your own car.
  • Previous sales experience (education experience not required).
  • Great communication skills and relationship-building ability.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • A self-motivated, go-getter attitude with willingness to learn.
