A healthcare provider is seeking a Patient Co-ordinator for their Emergency Department in Kettering. The role involves providing patient support, coordinating care, and working flexible shifts, including nights and weekends. Excellent interpersonal skills and adaptability are required, though prior experience in the Emergency Department is not essential as training will be provided.
KGH provides 24 hour accident and emergency services (A&E) from our Emergency Department (ED) and supports the treatment of patients presenting with minor, major and traumatic injuries. In submitting an application you authorise KGH to confirm any previous NHS service details via the Electronic Staff Record (ESR) Inter Authority Transfer (IAT) process, including factual reference, occupational health clearance and statutory and mandatory training records. If a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check is required for the role, you will be asked to pay the DBS cost (£49.50) and this cost will be reclaimed from your first salary. From 1 February 2019 all new starters are required to join the DBS update service with an annual cost of £16; those who do not join the update service will pay £49.50 for a new DBS check in three years’ time. New starters are subject to a six month probationary period.

We are seeking an individual who is flexible, with excellent interpersonal skills, the ability to work under pressure in a busy department, and who can maintain a high standard of efficiency.
