Job description

A large manufacturer of valves, generating 70 million in business for the group both nationally and internationally through injection moulding, high-speed, and cellular assemblies.

You will be responsible for two sites and P&L, overseeing operations and distribution, controlling 180 staff working (24/7) through 7 Senior Managers. You will be a member of the Board of Directors, reporting to the Executive Group Operations Director.

Job Purpose

The purpose of this role is to provide strategic and tactical responsibility for implementing manufacturing and operational strategies/goals to exceed customer expectations for product quality, cost, and delivery. The role aims to maximize efficiency, optimize production levels, and drive operational excellence. You will work closely with internal and external key stakeholders regarding technical support for activities, striving for best-in-class products and business practices to meet customer expectations, while managing teams and projects across the business.

  2. Knowledge and technical understanding of processes, components, and manufacturing techniques.
