Location: Cheshire

Salary: £65,000-£70,000 per year + Bonus + Car/Car Allowance + Hybrid Working + Enhanced Pension

Overview

Samuel Frank is recruiting for a leading EPC contractor in Cheshire. We're looking for an experienced Project Manager with strong commercial and contractual expertise to lead complex control systems projects.

Project Manager Responsibilities
  • Manage the delivery of EC&I and control systems projects from start to finish.
  • Apply technical knowledge of EC&I or DCS systems to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Ensure compliance with CDM regulations.
  • Work with NEC3/NEC4 contracts (Options A, C & E preferred).
  • Monitor project performance using CPI and SPI metrics.
  • Take full responsibility for technical and commercial delivery.
  • Conduct UK-based site visits (typically 1-2 days per trip).
Project Manager Requirements
  • Proven experience delivering control systems projects for OEMs, EPC contractors, systems integrators, or end-users.
  • Strong commercial acumen and contract management skills.
  • Knowledge of PMBOK or PRINCE2.
  • Ideally hold a recognised Project Management membership (e.g., PMI).
Benefits / Further Info
  • Hybrid working: 2 days from home, 3 days in the office.
  • Bonus: Up to 10% of base salary in Year 1.
  • Car allowance: Approx. £8,000 per year.

  • Office location is commutable from Cheshire and surrounding areas, including Manchester, Liverpool, Warrington, Stockport, Chester, and Northwich.
