Responsibilities
  • To gate-keep referrals into the Adult Eating Disorders Service liaising with referrers and providing advice and support as needed.
  • To ensure the effective assessment, care planning and review of patient care and treatment in line with the EPUT CPA policy and procedure.
  • To liaise with the provider collaborative regarding specialist out of area eating disorder placements and inpatient providers, when EPUT service users are admitted and to provide a link function for local services and carers.
  • To provide highly specialist evidence based interventions for clients with Eating Disorders, drawing on a wide range of theoretical frameworks and treatment modalities.
  • As a newly appointed employee, you are responsible for incurring the cost of your initial DBS check relevant to your post; the amount will be deducted from your first salary with the Trust.

You will receive regular professional and management supervision - as well as providing this to others - and will be supported to develop skills in this specialist area.
