Qualifications

  • Relevant Level 3 qualification (or equivalent) in Early Years.
  • Level 3 Teaching qualification (or equivalent) is essential.

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

Job description

We are recruiting an Early Years Tutor in the Lincolnshire area. As an Early Years Trainer, you will take ownership of the entire learner journey, ensuring the delivery of the highest quality training that engages, progresses, and retains learners in line with the curriculum overview. Your role is pivotal in creating a positive and impactful learning experience for each individual, fostering a commitment to the principle of "Right Learner, Right Programme, together."

Key Responsibilities
  • Engage learners, providing them with the best onboarding experience, preparing them for learning, and ensuring a comprehensive understanding of their program.
  • Utilise initial assessment results to establish learners' starting points, planning tailored support and individualisation to progress on the right program.
  • Promote safeguarding and prevent practices to ensure learner safety, providing guidance on how to seek help and report concerns.
  • Progress learners beyond the standard or qualification through wider learning, including literacy and numeracy improvement, safety awareness, confidence building, and additional skills for development.
  • Provide developmental feedback to learners, guiding them on areas for improvement and progression.
  • Monitor and review learner progress from their starting points, taking action when needed, such as engaging line managers or mentors to agree on plans for those falling behind or needing stretch and challenge.
  • Provide career advice and guidance, discussing next steps and opportunities available to learners to progress toward their career goals and aspirations.
  • Celebrate learners' achievements to engage them in further learning and qualifications available to them.
Qualifications
  • Relevant Level 3 qualification (or equivalent) in Early Years.
  • Level 3 Teaching qualification (or equivalent) is essential and Assessor qualification is desirable.
  • Proven success in delivering high-quality training provisions.
  • In-depth understanding of early years sector, curriculum, and safeguarding practices.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Learner-centric mindset, skilled in tailoring support for individual progress.
  • Passionate about developing individuals in the early years sector, with a results-driven and innovative approach.
