Those employed as Early Years Practitioner - qualified should hold a recognised qualification in Childcare and Education (e.g., HNC/NNEB/SVQ 3) and will be paid on grade HC0535. Unqualified workers will be required to work towards one of the above awards within an agreed timescale and will be paid on grade HC0435. The applicant must hold or agree to apply for registration with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) and achieve registration within 6 months of taking up employment or until registration is determined. Qualifications in Food Handling and First Aid would be advantageous.
This position is classified as a regulated role. Overseas Criminal Record Check may be required depending on nationality and recent residency history.
