Job summary

A prominent childcare provider in Rochdale is recruiting for Early Years Practitioners to work at nurseries and schools. Responsibilities include planning activities that support children's development, assessing progress, and promoting communication skills through play. Ideal candidates will have experience in childcare and a Level 2 or 3 qualification. Competitive hourly rates of up to £17.00 are offered.

We are currently recruiting for Early Years Practitioners, Childcare Assistants and Teaching Assistants to work at Nurseries and Schools in your area. We have long and short‑term contracts as well as shiftwork available.

Overview

• Plan and deliver age‑appropriate activities that support children’s cognitive, physical, social, and emotional development.
• Follow the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework (or relevant curriculum) to track and assess children’s progress.
• Encourage language and communication skills through storytelling, singing, and interactive play.
• Foster creativity and problem‑solving through play‑based learning.

Requirement: Experience of working in a nursery, childcare or either Level 2 or 3 Early Years, childcare or Teaching Assistant qualification.

Hourly rate: up to £17.00.
