A community-focused preschool is seeking an Early Years Educator to deliver high-quality care and a child-led curriculum at the YMCA Sovereign Centre in Reigate. The ideal candidate will have a Level 3 Early Years qualification and a passion for working with young children. Responsibilities include developing play-based experiences, maintaining development records, and supporting children's growth while ensuring adherence to safeguarding policies. Job purpose: The Early Years Educator/Practitioner will deliver the highest quality of care and curriculum in line with Ofsted guidelines. They will inspire by delivering an exciting, child-led, play-based curriculum.
An opportunity to join our wonderful, community-focused preschool at the YMCA Sovereign Centre in Reigate. We are looking for individuals who are experienced and passionate about working in Early Years to join our caring and committed team.
Hours of work: 30 hours per week, Monday to Friday 08:30 to 15:00, term time only. 4 or 5 day roles available.
Location: YMCA Pre-School, Sovereign Centre, Slipshatch Road, Reigate RH2 8HA
Salary / pay rate: Early Years Educator Level 3 Qualified £17,907.12 (based on 5 days/week, term time only)
The post holder will be entitled to free use of the YMCA East Surrey fitness centre in Redhill and half-price YMCA childcare for dependents. There is free parking available at all sites. YMCA East Surrey also operates a Bike to Work Scheme. Pension - There is a YMCA East Surrey pension scheme - details available on request.
